A member organization composed of property owners in the Lake George and Shingle Lake areas.
A Board of Directors is elected by the membership to act on behalf of the members
What We Do
The LGPOA will focus on protecting and enhancing the resources associated with the surface waters, ground waters, and water related habitats of Lake George and Shingle Lake, as well as, serving and promoting our community in a positive manner.
We sponsor the annual 4th of July Boat Parade and Street Parade, we also donate to the local Senior center and Children’s programs. Three newsletters per year will be mailed to each member as well as a lake directory every other year. There are, also, dedicated board members who keep us updated on Lake quality and fish in the lake. The newsletter and directory are available for download for members only as well.
Why this Association?
To afford residents a voice in conditions and improvements to the lakes and area.
To act on practical and attainable improvements and goals.
To sponsor and support worthwhile causes for the well being of the lakes and area.
To establish a body as a voice for lake and community enrichment
